On 19th November, 2019 TERI and SDS together launched a report titled “Faster Adoption of Electric Vehicles in India: Perspective of Consumers and Industry”. Thereafter a Roundtable discussion on addressing barriers to electric mobility was conducted and was chaired by Ambassador H.K. Singh, Director General, SDS and DPG. The Round Table Discussion was attended by experts from the industry, academia and saw the participation of key government officials as well. This facilitated the confluence of ideas from across varied realms. Valuable suggestions were received from the experts who advised on strategic mechanisms to be adopted to initiate the process of electrification of vehicles in the future. The session was concluded by Dr. A. Didar Singh, Senior Fellow, SDS.
